$4400000

OWNER

City of Port Moody

Construction of pedestrian and cyclist facilities along 1.8 km of St. Johns Street and Moody Street in Port Moody, BC, with a focus on creating safe, accessible pathways. The landscaped path includes a newly built asphalt path and concrete sidewalk, supported by retaining walls and framed by rain gardens and landscaping to integrate the path into the surrounding environment. These green features not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also provided sustainable stormwater management. Additional improvements included curbs, catch basins, and lighting to ensure the paths were well-lit and safe for both cyclists and pedestrians. Traffic signal upgrades further improved safety and functionality.
