Canuck Place Children’s Hospice
The Canuck Place Children Hospice is BC’s pediatric palliative care provider for children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. Their team of physicians, nurses, counsellors, therapists, staff, and volunteers provide medical respite care, pain and symptom management, art, music, and recreation therapy, end-of-life care, grief, loss, and bereavement counselling — all at no cost.

Since 1982, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation has worked with children, families, caregivers and hundreds of thousands of British Columbians to raise funds to support BC Children’s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute.

Living wage for families campaign
More and more British Columbians work in low-wage jobs that do not pay enough to live on. A living wage lifts working families out of poverty.
The Living Wage for Families Campaign encourages employers to pay a living wage as well as advocates for government policies that would help families make ends meet.

Children of Hope desires to be the beginning of a healthy cycle of change. These children grow up in orphanages and are taught to love, care, and build up themselves and others. We believe that through teaching these values to the children, they will carry this on into their future home, work, and community.

MOVEMBER
A growing number of men are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides. Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health.

KidSport BC helps ensure that every child is given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of playing organized sports.
